Dermatology: Welcome to our Division
We are the largest Division of Dermatology in Canada. Our Division consists of over 40 dermatologists and another 40 residents and fellows in dermatology training.
Our Division of Dermatology is housed in three main teaching sites (Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Women’s College Hospital and Toronto General Hospital, University Health Network) with a strong connection to the Hospital for Sick Children.
We offer comprehensive services including numerous general dermatology and specialized clinics in fields including psoriasis, laser and cosmetic surgery, Mohs micrographic surgery, skin cancer, hair loss, skin lymphomas, patch testing, camouflage cover-up, acne, rosacea and much more.
We offer state-of-the art laser clinic, where University of Toronto trained dermatologists provide the service personally and our laser director is board certified in the American Laser Safety Association.
Teaching is a daily commitment we all make in the Division of Dermatology. We train undergraduate medical students, postgraduate dermatology residents and numerous dermatology fellows who are dermatologists in their home country and look to us for specialized training for a year or more. We have a new teaching connection with McMaster University in Hamilton and currently have residents that learn at both University of Toronto and McMaster. The University of Toronto, Division of Dermatology Residency Training Program is recognized by the Canadian Dermatological Association.
