Learning objectives:

At the end of the presentation, participants should be able to:

  1. Describe better ways to integrate electronic resources such as Connecting Ontario and their EMR,
  2. Compare and contrast their personal medical experience with the published literature, and
  3. Reflect on how to use their EMR to explore their clinical experience for QI and research purposes.

Accreditation:

City Wide Medical Grand Rounds is a self-approved group learning activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Evaluation & Attendance:

Attendance for Maintenance of Certification credit will only be tracked if evaluation and attendance surveys are completed.

The University of Toronto Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology is hosting a Question and Answer Session for prospective applicants to its subspecialty PGY4-entry residency program. The program will include an introduction from the program leadership, a description of the training program, and a discussion of the training experience from current residents. There will be an opportunity to ask any questions to the program director regarding the residency program and the application process.
