Heather MacNeill is an associate professor in the Department of Medicine, University of Toronto. She is faculty lead, educational technologies, in the Office of Continuing Professional Development, Faculty of Medicine, at University of Toronto, and co-instructor of Educational Technology for Health Professional Education master’s course through the Dalla Lana School of Public Health. She has been researching and teaching about educational technologies for over 10 years and is the recipient of the Fox award and Fred Fallis award for her work in this area.
Clinically, she is a physiatrist and the medical director of Stroke Rehabilitation at Bridgepoint Active Healthcare, Sinai Health System.
Jason Liang is a former chief resident in the Division of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Toronto. Prior to residency, he obtained a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from the University of British Columbia and completed medical school at the University of Toronto. He has recently completed a longitudinal Leadership Certificate Program geared towards equipping postgraduate trainees with knowledge and skills to contribute to local and systems level improvements in health care. Over the course of his residency, he has participated in several teaching initiatives and hopes to be able to apply these experiences to his interest in educational technologies, curriculum design and academic neurorehabilitation.
Kataryna Nemethy is an eLearning developer and instructional designer at Baycrest Health Sciences with over 10 years experience in the field of eLearning, instructional design and educational technologies. As a graduate of Biomedical Sciences at University of Toronto, she is passionate about the interface between education, technology and design. She co-instructs Educational Technology for Health Professional Education (Edutech HPE) in the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at University of Toronto and continues to freelance as an instructional designer, eLearning developer and medical illustrator/animator. https://www.knemethy.com/
