Accredited by the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada for 11.0 hours and certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the Ontario Chapter for up to 11 Mainpro+ credits.

Sinai Health System and University Health Network present the 6th Annual Toronto Geriatrics Update Course taking place on Friday November 2nd and Saturday November 3rd.

The annual Geriatrics CPD Course has been designed to provide front-line practitioners with the latest practical and evidence-based knowledge they need to better manage the care of their older patients. This two-day CPD Course will feature high quality/interactive lectures and will focus on the assessment and management of geriatric syndromes and common issues that arise in the care of an older patient.

Please note that you can now register for the event with an early bird rate. The discounted prices for tickets will be in effect until September 28.

The CFI 3D Facility is pleased to announce that it has a new instrument for usage! This instrument is a powerful Nipkow spinning disk confocal microscope coupled with a versatile 7-wavelength fluorescent LED light source. Additional features include a perfect focus, as well as a temperature and CO2 controlled heating chamber for time lapse imaging of live cells.

Nikon has scheduled a demo to demonstrate its capabilities on Tuesday, June 20th (10AM-2PM; Medical Science Building, room 7365).

Each laboratory can book one 30 min time slot by RSVP to Alex Hardy. Booking is on a first-booked first-served basis & booking priority will be given to laboratories which need immediate use.

Visitors are also encouraged to bring their own samples if they wish to see a practical imaging test. Please, fill the attached word document with your sample description and return it to Alex Hardy.

The deadline for RSVP is June 14th; 12PM.
