Dr. Bui, MD MSc is Associate professor in the Division of Neurology. She is a Clinician Educator and has held many leadership roles in teaching and education. Dr. Bui is past co-chair of Education for Krembil Brain Institute, that includes weekly educational/research rounds. She has enabled and optimizing Clinician Teachers’ ability to obtain ‘on-the fly’ learner evaluations by the creation of a mobile app called ‘myTE teaching tool’ for immediate evaluations. This is adopted by > 5000 users and is now integral in the University of Toronto, Department of Medicine (DOM). She received the WB Anderson Award in Program Innovation and Development, Neurology and the 2020 William Goldie Travel Award in Education, Neurology, DOM.

She is also currently Director of Education for the organization Canadian League against Epilepsy, Canada. Dr. Bui initiated and has directed the first Women’s Neurology Resident elective training in Canada since 2015. To date, over 30 resident trainees from across Canada have come to receive specialized training in Women’s Neurology. Dr. Bui has also initiated and is co-director of the first Women’s’ Neurology Fellowship training program in Canada starting in 2018. This is only one of three established Women’s Neurology program in North America.

Out of the residency and fellowship training programs in Women’s Neurology, Dr. Bui created the Women in Neurology Mentorship Program for residents and fellows. In recognition of her expertise, Dr. Bui was highlighted in the Canadian Leaders in Neurology - Work in Women’s Neurology Education and Care, Resident in Training, Canadian Society of Neurological Sciences. (Distinction). She has also received multiple invitations to speak nationally and internationally on Women's Neurology.
