Advise the Department of Medicine Chair and Vice Chair Research on the investment of resources and provide aspirational leadership to further the research enterprise of the Department of Medicine. The committee is an advisory committee to the Chair of the Department of Medicine.

The Research Committee meets quarterly.
Membership
Faculty representation is broad, covering all spectrums of research and reflecting the diversity of the department’s different sites, job descriptions, levels of seniority, involvement with research institutes and engagement with extra departmental units. The current composition of the committee includes the representatives below, including divisional research leads and hospital representatives. All Division Directors are also invited.
