WebCV & Elements
The Department of Medicine is in the process of transitioning from WebCV to Elements and plans to decommission our use of WebCV on March 31, 2026.
For faculty who are going through CFAR in the fall of 2025 or spring of 2026 or promotions in 2026 or 2027, where final documents are uploaded before March 31, 2026, you may continue to use WebCV. Faculty who are going through CFAR or promotions immediately after this (i.e. CFAR fall 2026 and promotions 2028) will use Elements and will be prioritized for data entry support from the Elements team.
Faculty who have not previously used WebCV may now start using Elements to create their academic CV by logging in. Resources on how to use Elements are available here and faculty may also provide access to a delegate (e.g administrative assistant) to update their profile.
The Department of Medicine provides Elements access to all full-time faculty members with a primary appointment within the department.
Elements has now released the TFoM Creative Professional Activities (CPA) report and related user guide. Faculty can access the CPA user guide on the MedIT website and MedIT Service Catalogue where you will also find FAQs and additional support resources, including:
For assistance with Elements, please contact elements.med@utoronto.ca.
The Department has condensed the key portions of the previous WebCV support website into the following pages:
The WebCV login page remains the same.
