To advise the Department of Medicine Chair on the investment of resources and the current and projected challenges, opportunities, and priorities in Quality & Innovation. The committee is advisory to and chaired by the Department of Medicine Vice-Chair, Quality & Innovation (Q&I).
Meetings
The Q&I Committee meets quarterly.
Membership
In addition to the Vice-Chair and Administrative Assistant for the Quality & Innovation portfolio, faculty representation is broad, covering all levels of seniority, main clinical sites and job descriptions engaged in Quality & Innovation endeavours. The committee will also include at least some members from Department of Medicine leadership positions, such as DDDs and PICs, and Medical Directors of Quality from TAHSN hospitals.
