Meiqi Guo
Dr. Guo completed her residency training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Toronto. She also completed a Masters in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety through the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto, and the Certificate Course in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety through CQuIPS. In addition, she earned a certification in Electromyography (EMG) from the Canadian Society of Clinical Neurophysiologists.
She has a sub-specialty interest in Acquired Brain Injury rehabilitation and EMG. She began her practice in 2016 at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute (TRI) in the areas of inpatient and outpatient brain injury rehabilitation, and EMG. In addition, she joined the St. Michael’s Hospital Head Injury Clinic in 2017. She started serving as the Medical Lead for Brain injury Rehabilitation at TRI in 2018.
She is an Assistant Professor-Clinician in Quality and Innovation with the Division of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and her primary academic focus is the development of tools and strategies for patient safety and quality improvement in the rehabilitation setting.
