Dharini Mahendira
Dr. Dharini Mahendira, MD, FRCPC, MScCH is a Rheumatologist at St. Michael's Hospital. She is a Clinician Teacher and Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto. Her clinical focus is general rheumatology and rheumatic diseases in pregnancy. She is an award winning teacher who focuses on curriculum design at the post-graduate level. Highlights of her curriculum design work include her development of a rheumatology based immunology video series, which is endorsed at the national level, and showcased by the Canadian Rheumatology Association. Dr. Mahendira is involved in several education leadership roles, both locally and nationally. She is the Co-Chair of the Canadian Rheumatology Association Post-graduate Education Committee, as well as a member of the Royal College Specialty Committee and Exam Development Committee. At the University of Toronto, she is the Co-chair of the Rheumatology Academic Half Day series, and an active member of the Rheumatology Program and Competence Committees.
