Ewan Goligher

Ewan Goligher MD, PhD is a clinician-scientist at the University Health Network in Toronto. He studied Biochemistry and Medicine at the University of British Columbia and trained in Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Toronto. He holds a PhD in Physiology from the University of Toronto. His research focuses on patient-ventilator interactions and mechanisms of lung and diaphragm injury during mechanical ventilation with the goal of developing novel strategies to prevent and treat these injuries and improve outcomes. Dr. Goligher attends in the Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Toronto General Hospital.
