George Mastoras

Dr. Mastoras is a specialist Emergency Physician with particular expertise in resuscitation medicine and simulation-based health professions education. He has a keen interest in the optimization of Emergency Department critical care, bringing together the realms of simulation, emerging technologies, team training and quality improvement. At UHN he is Physician Co-Chair for the corporate Acute Resuscitation Committee, co-leads the ECPR working group, and is the Research/QI lead for the EM Simulation program. He is an avid clinical teacher, mentor to numerous medical trainees, and has published and lectured nationally on a range of topics in patient safety, simulation, and resuscitation.
