I grew up in the Ottawa area and completed my undergraduate education with a double major in Human Kinetics and English. After spending some time working abroad, I completed medical school in Adelaide, Australia, and matched into the University of Toronto 5-year emergency medicine residency. After finsihing my residency I took positions mainly with Sunnybrook Hospital, but also with Lakeridge Oshawa and Peterborough in the community.
I've completed a fellowship in pre-hospital medicine in New Zealand where I was a part of a helicopter retrieval team, and I'm presently completing a Masters in Medical Education with Dundee University in Scotland. My areas of interest include virtual lecturing strategies and simulation education including allied health teams.
