Dr. Khan is an infectious disease physician with training in public health and preventive medicine based at the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute of St. Michael’s Hospital. He is an Associate Professor with the Division of Infectious Diseases and the Institute of Health Policy Management and Evaluation. His research interests focus on human migration, international travel and the impacts of globalization on newly emerging and reemerging infectious diseases. He is also the founder of a social enterprise called BlueDot that develops innovative web and mobile technologies to facilitate smart and timely decisions by individuals and health organizations.
