Graduating from Medical School in 1989, I bring over 35 years of comprehensive experience as a physician, specializing in the treatment of cancer patients for the past 29 years.

Commencing my career in India, I subsequently spent approximately 14 years practicing in the Middle East, particularly in Kuwait, before immigrating to Canada in 2012. This diverse professional background has equipped me with valuable insights into managing patients from various cultures and resource environments.

Upon earning my Doctor of Medicine certification at B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad, I furthered my expertise with a Speciality Certification in Medical Oncology from Gujarat University, India. Embarking on my academic journey, I served as an Assistant Professor in Medical Oncology at the Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute and later as a Specialist in Medical Oncology at the Kuwait Cancer Control Centre.

Continuing my commitment to professional development, I completed a Clinical Fellowship in Medical Oncology at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Toronto, and obtained Master Teacher Training certification at the University of Toronto. Additionally, I participated in the Veteran Affairs Quality Scholars (VAQS) Fellowship. Most recently, I concluded a residency program in Family Medicine at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine, earning CCFP certification.

Within the field of Oncology, my primary clinical interests lie in gastrointestinal malignancies, with a particular focus on pancreatic cancers, immunotherapy, and managing Oncological emergencies.

Beyond my professional pursuits, I nurture interests in numismatics and photography, which contribute to a well-rounded and fulfilling life outside of academics.
