Dr. Paul James is an Assistant Professor and Clinical Investigator with the Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology at the University Health Network. Dr. James received his MD from the University of Toronto, where he also realized his training in General Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He completed a CIHR Clinical and Research Fellowship in Therapeutic Endoscopy at the University of Calgary in 2014. His research interests include competency-based training in advanced endoscopy, the impact endoscopic ultrasound on pre-operative surgical oncological decision-making and modeling the healthcare use and outcomes associated with terminal gastrointestinal malignancies such as pancreatic cancer.
