Stephanie Reiter
Dr. Stephanie Reiter is a recent recruit in stroke neurology. Her stroke training was at Stanford Stroke Center. She has training in neurocritical care and will help support our more advanced stroke care needs. She has a Masters degree in education from Johns Hopkins. She has a particular interest in young stroke patients, practicing in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She is additionally actively involved in general neurological care in the inpatient and outpatient settings.
More specifically, she co-leads of the post-hospital discharge clinic for patients with neurological conditions, serving an important role in ensuring timely care for hospitalized patients facing neurological symptoms or conditions.
Looking forward, she aims to establish a Stroke in the Young Clinic, concentrating on individuals below 50 years old, offering tailored care to this demographic. Dr. Reiter is also interested in developing a multidisciplinary clinic integrating thrombosis expertise for comprehensive patient support.
Simultaneously, her commitment extends to further developing the stroke fellowship program, nurturing emerging specialists to advance stroke care and research with creation of additional educational activities including journal club and fellow-specific teaching.
