Tarek Abdelhalim

Dr. Abdelhalim grew up in Manotick, Ontario.  He attended medical school at the University of Toronto and graduated in 2011. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Toronto and was Chief Medical Resident at the Toronto Western Hospital (UHN) in 2014 – 2015. He then became a full time staff al North York General Hospital as well as a lecturer with the University of Toronto for 3 years. He was awarded a PARQ Excellence in Clinical Teaching Award for 2017. Tarek has now returned to the Toronto Western Hospital, where he is a full time faculty member with UHN. His clinical and academic interests are in ambulatory general internal medicine and resident wellness.
