Tony Mazzulli

Dr. Mazzulli is the Microbiologist-in-Chief for the Sinai Health System. He is also the Infectious Diseases Consultant in the Department of Microbiology at Mount Sinai Hospital and University Health Network and the Acting Head, Division of Microbiology, at the University of Toronto. He is a Professor in the Department of Medicine and a Professor and Clinician Investigator in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology at the University of Toronto. He holds a certificate of special competence in Infectious Diseases. He is also a consulting Medical Microbiologist at the Public Health Ontario Laboratories. He is an Advisor to the Subcommittee on Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing, Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute in the United States, the Vice-Chair, Specialty Committee in Medical Microbiology, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and Councilor, Association of Medical Microbiologists and Infectious Diseases Canada.
