Description: |
The fellowship is specifically designed to educate adult Hematology trainees interested in Hemoglobinopathies. It is a 2 year combined clinical and research fellowship in Adult Hemoglobinopathies, focusing on comprehensive care, inter-professional collaboration, education, and research development.
It is expected that trainees undertake a Master’s program, according to their desired career tract. If the Fellow is from outside of Toronto, it is expected they will return to their home institution and implement further Hemoglobinopathy training locally. Candidates must have completed subspecialty training in Internal Medicine and/or Medical Oncology or Hematology, and be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. |
