This is a focused fellowship following completed training in General Endocrinology or Medical Oncology. Candidates will gain experience in the multimodal targeted therapies of patients with sporadic and familial neuroendocrine tumors, pituitary neoplasms, thyroid/parathyroid tumors, adrenal/paragangliomas, and other benign and malignant neoplasms of the dispersed endocrine system. First hand experience covers the spectrum of fundamentals from underlying genetics, histomorphologic, radiographic, and risk stratification systems to their applications in the clinical settings. Regular multidisciplinary cancer case conferences provide wide multidisciplinary interactions across all tumor sites.
Candidates must have completed subspecialty training in Internal Medicine and/or Medical Oncology or Hematology, and be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
