How to Document Sustained Excellence in Teaching (2025-26)

When seeking promotion, it is essential to effectively document your role in teaching and education, as well as the quality of your teaching and your contributions to the university's educational mission. The Teaching Effectiveness Committee reviews Teaching Dossiers in the spring, prior to the full dossier review by the Departmental Promotions Committee in the autumn.

To assist you in preparing your teaching dossier efficiently, a virtual workshop will be available in January, led by Dr. Lori Albert, Chair of the DOM-TEC. This workshop is aimed at those planning to seek promotion based on Sustained Excellence in Teaching.
