Summit for Women in Academic Medicine
The Summit for Women in Academic Medicine (WAM) was launched in 2017 with the goal of creating a space for women in the Department of Medicine to share experiences, gain valuable skills, network and advocate for the development of strong female* leaders in Academic Medicine. Through multiple iterations of the event, faculty and trainees have heard speakers, panels, and participated in workshops on topics of leadership, wellness, intersectionality, conflict management, allyship and communication.
While we were not able to host a Summit in 2021, we are currently looking for volunteers to assist in the planning committee for 2022. If you are interested in participating, please contact dom.cultureandinclusion@utoronto.ca.
