How to Document Your Teaching Effectiveness (Research or CPA) (2025-26)

When seeking promotion, it is essential to effectively document your role in teaching and education, as well as the quality of your teaching and your contribution to the university's educational mission. The Teaching Effectiveness Committee reviews Teaching Dossiers in the spring, prior to the full dossier review by the Departmental Promotions Committee in the autumn.

To assist you in preparing your teaching dossier efficiently, a virtual workshop will be available in January, led by Dr. Lori Albert, Chair of the DOM-TEC. This workshop is specifically designed for those seeking promotion based on research or CPA platforms and who need to demonstrate teaching competence.
