Educational Objective:
1. To define the neurovascular unit (NVU).
2. To discuss concepts of the neurovascular unit: Vascular Hypothesis and NVU in Dementia.
3. To discuss the emerging concepts of NVU and its clinical implications to the Vascular and Cognitive Neurologist.
