Dr. MacLellan is a stroke neurologist by training, attending on the inpatient stroke service, covering overnight stroke and general neurology on-call duties, as well as running ambulatory stroke and general neurology practices.
He is the co-developer and co-organizer of the PGY-5 Transition to Practice (TTP – Junior Attending) clinic for the neurology residency program, a novel clinic developed to address Royal College required training experiences of the TTP stage in the CBD curriculum. He is also a member of the neurology residency Clinical Supervision Working Group (CSWG), aimed at reviewing and enhancing the experience of trainees on neurology rotations throughout the city.
