Alexandra Muccilli

Dr. Muccilli serves as the neurology education site director at St. Michael’s Hospital is the Director for the Stroke Program and is a strong believer in the Neuro-hospitalist model of care. She sees a large volume of inpatients and outpatients with CNS autoimmune and neurovascular conditions and is very involved in medical education.  Her commitment to health equity led her to develop a clinic providing timely neurology consultations for underrepresented populations. She has received numerous teaching accolades including the Robert H. Hyland Teacher of the Year Award from the DOM, the Neurology Faculty Teaching and Mentorship Awards. Dr. Muccilli is committed to training future generations and advancing quality improvement with a focus on equity. 

Dr. Muccilli was appointed Adult Neurology Residency Program Director at the University of Toronto in March 2026.
