Asad Merchant

Dr. Asad A. Merchant received his BSc. Hon in Biochemistry in 2006 from the University of Toronto, followed by a medical degree in 2010 from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. He completed post graduate residency studies at the University of Toronto in Internal Medicine, followed by a fellowship in Nephrology, which he completed in 2015; he also did additional training in Geriatric Nephrology. He completed the Master Teacher Program at U of Toronto, and a Master’s in Science (Community Health) from the Dalla Lana, School of Public Health in Toronto in 2020. Dr. Merchant practices as a staff nephrologist at UHN with interest in geriatric and rehabilitation nephrology.
