Candice Todd

Dr. Todd, MD, MSc, FRCPC, is a neurologist and specialist in headache medicine practicing at Scarborough Health Network and Women’s College Hospital in Toronto. She holds a faculty appointment as a Lecturer in the Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto, where she is actively engaged in clinical teaching and mentorship. Dr. Todd completed her undergraduate studies in Biological Sciences at the University of Guelph and earned a Master of Science degree in Physiology and Pharmacology from McMaster University. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree from Ross University and subsequently completed her neurology residency, followed by a dedicated fellowship in headache medicine, at the University of Toronto. Her clinical and research interests focus on women’s neurological health, with particular emphasis on the impact of pregnancy and perimenopause on headache disorders, as well as on addressing gender- and race-based inequities in neurological disease. Dr. Todd has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications, including contributions to the Canadian Headache Society Guidelines for Migraine Prevention. She serves on the Canadian Headache Society Fellowship Committee and is a member of the editorial board of the American Migraine Foundation.
