Cheryl Jaigobin
Dr. Jaigobin MD, MSc is a Professor, Division of Neurology and Staff Stroke Neurologist since 2000. She completed her medical degree and Neurology residency at the University of Toronto. She completed a fellowship in Stroke at the University of Toronto and is part of the Toronto Western Hospital Stroke Program.
She has participated in educational activities in undergraduate, postgraduate and fellowship programs at local, provincial and national levels. She was a member of the American Academy of Neurology Guidelines Development committee and a member of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario Professional Education Committee. She was the UHN Stroke Fellowship supervisor for over ten years.
She has been the Director of Fellowship Programs for the Department of Medicine, University of Toronto for the past five years. She is also the current chair of the Fellowship Education and Advisory Committee at the University of Toronto. She is the adult Neurology lead for the Pediatric Stroke Transition clinic.
