Christian Fortin
Dr. Chris Fortin graduated from medical school at Western University. He earned a JD degree from the Faculty of Law and a Masters of Health Science degree in Health Administration from the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation (IHPME), both from the University of Toronto. He completed residency training in physical medicine & rehabilitation (PM&R) at the University of Toronto.
He has a full-time clinical appointment from Sinai Health System and is primarily based at Bridgepoint Active Health Care. He practices musculoskeletal, electrodiagnostic, and neuro-rehabilitation medicine in the inpatient and outpatient settings.
Dr. Fortin is Divisional Director of PM&R at Sinai Health System.
He has published on rehabilitation outcomes in patients with malignant spinal cord compression. His research interests are in the rehabilitation of similarly complex rehabilitation populations and in quality improvement.
