Eugene Chang
Dr. Eugene Chang is a physiatrist, holding a full-time academic appointment as Associate Professor through the
Department of Medicine, University of Toronto. He completed residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at
University of British Columbia and additional fellowship training in Cancer Rehabilitation at MD Anderson
Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. He also completed a Master’s of Science in Community Health from
University of Toronto in 2018.
Dr. Chang currently holds a full-time clinical appointment at the University Health Network, working at Toronto
Rehabilitation Institute (TRI) and Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. He works in the Multisystems, Neurological
and Cancer Rehab programs in these institutions. He has an interest in Cancer Rehab clinical and educational
program development and accessibility. He is currently Medical Lead for Cancer Rehab at TRI and Princess
Margaret, and was interim medical director for the Geriatric and Multisystems program in 2024-2025.
