Gyl Midroni

Dr. Midroni is the Division Head and also the Director of the Clinical Neurophysiology department.  His clinical practice is confined to neuromuscular disease.  His role in the division over the years has been primarily as an educator, and he has received more resident teaching awards in the past 30 years than any other neurologist at the University of Toronto. Dr. Midroni has also been awarded for creating and running (now going for 20+ years) the weeklong Toronto Neuromuscular Course.   He has acted as a mentor for many of the junior staff now at the division of Neurology, and has been recognized with awards for this activity as well.
