Dr. Howard Bargman did his undergraduate and medical school studies at the University of Toronto.  He interned at Mt Sinai Hospital and spent two years in residency at Sunnybrook Hospital and two more years in Vancouver.  He joined the staff of Sunnybrook in the late 1970s and has been the Director of Laser for the Division of Dermatology since the clinic began in 1999.

Dr. Bargman is certified by the American Board of Laser Surgery and is a Certified Medical Laser Safety Officer (U.S).  He is an active teacher of medical students and residents and is Associate Professor of Dermatology at the University of Toronto.

Dr. Bargman has been injecting botulinum toxins (Dysport, Botox) and facial fillers for 20 years. He has performed inspections of other physician offices for the College of Physicians of Ontario and has served as a medical expert for both plaintiffs and defendants in legal matters related to Dermatology and Cosmetic Dermatology.
