Ioana Medrea

Dr Medrea has joined the Centre for Headache in September 2024 from SUNY Upstate Medical College in Syracuse, NY. She has her neurology residency and MSc in Clinical Epidemiology from University of Ottawa. She has a headache fellowship from Dartmouth College, in New Hampshire USA. She is currently a clinician investigator in Neurology. Her areas of research interest pertain to cluster headache and migraine disorders, and she is working in clinical practice guidelines, systematic and meta-analytic techniques, and clinical trial design. In addition, she is interested in epidemiology of headache disorders, and also further studies of emerging secondary headache disorders such as due to low CSF pressure.
