Joel Lockwood

My academic interest is early diagnosis, treatment, and the medical logistics for victims of acute traumatic injury. This includes curriculum development, and education of pre-hospital staff, facilitation for transport to major trauma center and initial medical and surgical management. During training I completed sub specialty training in trauma management at St. Michael's and Sunnybrook Hospitals and pre-hospital care at Ornge Air Ambulance and Sydney Helicopter Emergency Medical Service. Subsequently I completed a pre-hospital trauma fellowship in the United Kingdom at London's Air Ambulance.
