Jose Danilo Diestro

Dr. Jose Danilo Diestro is a vascular neurologist with subspecialty training in interventional neuroradiology. He is involved in the medical and endovascular treatment of various vascular diseases of the brain and spine. These include stroke, carotid artery stenosis, aneurysms, fistulae and arteriovenous malformations.

He finished residency training in Adult Neurology and fellowship in Stroke at the University of the Philippines- Philippine General Hospital. He then went on to pursue fellowship training in Interventional Neuroradiology at the University of Toronto (St. Michael's Hospital) and the Université de Montréal (Centre Hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal).

His research interests include the acute stroke neuroimaging and the management of aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage and large vessel occlusion occlusion stroke.
