Dr. Lauren Glick is a rheumatologist at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, Ontario, and a faculty member at the University of Toronto. Her clinical practice focuses on general rheumatology in the inpatient and outpatient setting, rheumatic diseases in pregnancy and rapid access care for patients with urgent and semi-urgent rheumatologic conditions. Dr. Glick’s primary academic interest lies in medical education. She is engaged in teaching at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and post-graduate curriculum development, with a focus on academic half- day programing and transition to practice curricula. She is also involved in research related to maternal-fetal outcomes in autoimmune disease and innovative care delivery models in rheumatology. Her work aims to enhance both patient outcomes and system efficiency through better triage and multidisciplinary collaboration.
