Lawrence Cohen

Consultant in the Division of Gastroenterology, Sunnybrook & Women’s Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Toronto

Dr. Cohen is an active member of many medical associations, including the Canadian Association of Gastroenterology, Canadian Medical Association, American College of Gastroenterology, American College of Physicians and American Association of Gastroenterology. Dr. Cohen has received many awards including; the Award in Therapeutics from McMaster University, the Young Clinicians Teacher Award from Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, and the Continuing Education Award from the Boyd Academy.

Over the past twenty-five years, Dr. Cohen has been published in numerous peer-reviewed publications, and he has also conducted numerous clinical trials in various areas of internal medicine.

Dr. Cohen received his Doctor of Medicine from McMaster University in 1979 and his Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians in 1984.
