Dr Eder is a Rheumatologist and Clinician Scientist at Women’s College Research Institute. Dr Eder is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Department of Medicine, University of Toronto and Associate Member of the graduate faculty at the Institute of Medical Science, University of Toronto. Dr Eder is the Director of the Psoriatic Arthritis Research Program and Co-Director of the Cardiology-Rheumatology Ambulatory Program at Women’s College Hospital.

Dr Eder received her MD from Ben Gurion University in Israel, in 2002. Dr Eder completed her PhD studies in genetic epidemiology at the Institute of Medical Sciences, University of Toronto, followed by post-doctoral research fellowship at the Centre for Prognosis Studies in the Rheumatic Diseases, Toronto Western Hospital studying the underlying mechanisms of atherosclerosis in psoriatic disease.

Dr Eder's research interests are in the area of clinical epidemiology of psoriatic disease and cardiovascular co-morbidities in patients with rheumatic diseases. Dr Eder is also an expert in musculoskeletal ultrasound and performs research in this field. She serves as the Research Director of the Canadian Rheumatology Ultrasound Society.

Dr Eder has published 71 journal articles and 2 book chapters and has an H-index of 25 – her work on genetics and cardiovascular morbidity and metabolic abnormalities being the most cited. Her research is supported by research grants from international and national agencies including The Arthritis Society, National Psoriasis Foundation, Canadian Rheumatology Association and Group for Research and Assessment in Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis. As a recognized emerging expert in the field Dr Eder received a New Investigator Salary Award from the Arthritis Society (2016-2019).
