Lori Albert
Dr. Lori Albert is a rheumatologist at the Toronto Western Hospital, University Health Network. She completed her undergraduate and postgraduate medical training at the University of Toronto. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Medicine and is a clinician-teacher. Dr. Albert has a particular interest in undergraduate education. However, she has been involved in resident education both locally and at the national level through the development of a National Rheumatology Curriculum for core medicine trainees. As part of this Curriculum, she has edited and published a rheumatology handbook for residents, which is now being used across the country. She has been the recipient of several teaching awards and she currently holds a Clinician-Teacher Award from the Arthritis Society of Canada.
