I am an interventional cardiologist with a PhD in coronary atherosclerotic plaque analysis relying on multi-modality invasive and non-invasive imaging. My research interests are two-fold: firstly, in developing automated machine learning based methods for plaque characterisation utilising multiple modalities and validating their performance against histology. Secondly, applying these characterisation tools to the detection and longitudinal monitoring of atherosclerotic plaque evolution, integrating invasive and non-invasive imaging platforms to derive comprehensive assessments of plaque vulnerability, haemodynamic forces, and biological activity.
