Dr Sean Ong is an infectious diseases physician and early-career clinician-scientist. He completed his infectious disease training in Singapore, then went on to complete an international joint PhD between the University of Toronto and University of Melbourne, focusing on methods to optimize the design and delivery of clinical trials in infectious diseases. He is part of several large international clinical trial networks including the BALANCE+ and SNAP trial networks. His research interests are in bloodstream infection and innovative clinical trial methodology.
