Dr. Sharon Sukhdeo is a Clinician in Quality and Innovation and Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto in the Department of Medicine, an Infectious Diseases specialist at Sinai Health and University Health Network, and the Associate Medical Director of Infection Prevention and Control at Sinai Health.  After obtaining her medical degree, Dr. Sukhdeo completed her General Internal Medicine and Chief Medicine residencies at Yale University School of Medicine in Connecticut, USA. She then returned to Toronto, Ontario where she completed an Infectious Diseases residency followed by a clinical fellowship in Infection Prevention and Control at the University of Toronto.  Dr. Sukhdeo also has specialized postgraduate training in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety from the Institute of Health Policy, Management, and Evaluation at the University of Toronto.  Her areas of interest include infection prevention and control and quality improvement.
