Stephanie Lheureux
Stephanie Lheureux is a Clinician Investigator, Medical Oncologist and Gynecology Oncology Site Lead at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.
She did her Doctoral studies (MD and PhD) at the University of Caen, France. She completed her training with a Clinical Research Fellowship at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Toronto, in the Drug Development Unit and a Fellowship at the National Cancer Institute, Washington, in the The Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program.
Her scientific thesis focused on the preclinical evaluation of new targeted therapies in ovarian cancer for which she received the Prix Mariapia Bressan award from the ARCAGY GINECO cooperative group and the EXON Association PhD award.
She is principal investigator of different clinical trials and research projects which have led to several publication in widely cited journals. She received several awards from the American Society of Clinical Oncology for her contribution to science.
Her clinical and academic interests are focused in gynecologic cancers and early drug development with an emphasis on translational research.
