Yin Ge
Yin obtained his MDCM from McGill University in 2010 followed by residency training in Internal Medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School. He completed cardiology training at the University of Toronto in 2016. More recently, he returned to Boston to complete a 3-year clinical and research fellowship in multimodality cardiovascular imaging at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School. He specializes in nuclear cardiology and cardiac CT/MRI. His research focuses on the applications of advanced cardiac imaging to improve patient care and outcomes. He has special interests in using cardiac PET for myocardial blood flow quantification and imaging myocardial metabolism and inflammation. He is also interested in using cardiac MRI for risk stratification in patients with ventricular arrhythmias. He has served as site investigator for the multicenter Stress CMR Perfusion Imaging in the United States study. He has published over 20 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters. His clinical activities includes nuclear cardiology and cardiac MRI, as well as outpatient general cardiology ambulatory clinics. When he is not at work, Yin enjoys travelling and spending time with his family.
