On June 15th, the Department of Medicine gathered to celebrate and recognize the accomplishments of its exceptional team of medical educators, trainees, researchers and world-renowned thought leaders. This year, the Department’s Annual Day celebration recognized numerous faculty for their immense contributions to scholarship, research, education, mentorship, humanism and patient care.
Despite a global pandemic, department faculty and trainees continued to demonstrate their collective academic excellence, collaborative spirit and intellectual curiosity. Annual Day continues to serve as an opportunity to celebrate their immeasurable impact as clinicians, research, teachers, educators and quality innovators. It is also an opportunity to acknowledge faculty promotions through the ranks of professorship and celebrate their sustained innovation and exemplary practice in teaching and creative professional activities.
