This fellowship immerses the trainee in the clinical management challenges of severe asthma, COPD and alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency. Fellows will work clinically but will also undertake one or more clinical research programs in these areas. Research underway examines respiratory health care delivery issues, diagnostic methodology, pharmacologic trials and natural history studies.
