Fellows have the opportunity to participate in a clinical research fellowship in the treatment of multiple myeloma and associated mature B-cell lymphoproliferative disorders at the Division of Hematology at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.
Fellows will gain clinical experience in the care of patients with myeloma and related disorders. Work will include application of the principles of intensive therapy and stem cell transplantation, as well as use of novel agents in drug development. Fellows may participate in clinical investigation (writing or directing study protocols, participating in the National Cancer Institute of Canada, applying for grant support and more). Depending on candidate interest, opportunities in laboratory research, patient/faculty education and supportive care in mature B-cell disorders may be available.
