Title: Edging closer to therapies for frontotemporal dementia
Learning objectives:
1) the current status of observational FTD studies,
2) worldwide collaborative efforts to develop platform trials, and
3) recent developments in therapies developed for FTD
Dr. Jon Rohrer is a Professor of Neurology at the Dementia Research Centre in the Queen Square UCL Institute of Neurology as well as a Consultant Neurologist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. He leads the international Genetic FTD Initiative, GENFI, a European and Canadian multicentre cohort study of presymptomatic genetic FTD. The research of his team focuses on the development of novel biomarkers in frontotemporal dementia (FTD)
